We are online with a fully automated library catalog and circulation system. You can click on this icon
and it will take you to the TCS Library OPAC (Online Public Access Computer.) This can be accessed from any computer/laptop/smartphone at any time; you can also find this Library World icon on the school home pages.
All students receive photo IDs that double as a library card. Students in grades K-6 have their library checkout information stored in the library in a notebook by class, so they do not have to remember to bring a library card each week. If your child’s photo was taken late, see the librarian and she will add a barcode to the back of the card.
If you would like to reserve a book from your home computer, you may email me directly from Library World to request a hold. Just click the link that says Request Hold and type your name in the box. (If you would like a confirmation reply, don’t forget to add your own email address.) I will save that book for you for one week. The library can also email student’s circulation records — all the materials, fines, and reserves that are currently on their record — just email me.
Library Fines are charged to students in grades 4-12; the fine is $.05 per book per day for 4th through 6th grades, and $.10 per day per book for students in 7th through 12th grades.
